Bead Embroidery using Slider beads-idea

Oh my! This turned out amazing, our first attempt at bead embroidery using Slider beads, seed beads, delica's, ect. First, started out with fine thread, and needle, and well, started stitching the sliders on, so we had our focal beads, then, started just laying out the smaller beads around to make this beautiful design. This is more on the overly complex side for us, but we did it!! It would look great also on a headband, jacket, as a hair piece, so many things we could have done with this one. Once the beads were all stitched on, then, take very sharp scissors and cut around the beads and we carved out behind the sliders, so that the fabric didn't show through the holes, pretty easy for the end. It's the doing that isn't beading 101, that's for sure! And, it's not perfect, but it's our first attempt at such a complex design!! This design used 10313 and 10315 for the slider designs. Just another example of how 2 hole slider beads can really add something to your creation!!
