Detailed Description
This project turned out AMAZING! And, we liked it so much we ordered the castings in a variety of colors!
Copper Beads used: Part Number 3346 or 3413 for the open filigree style and are prices 4 for $5.50 and the other large casting is 3350 or 3414, they come in packages of 4 for $5.00.
The smaller red castings are 3305.
Each stand was sturng on 28 gauge roll of the "cheap stuff" wire
(meaning the wire you get in bulk for your local hobby store)
We started with the center focal beads, as normal. First the longer of the strands, starting in the center, put small antique copper beads on then a pearl, then 2 more antique copper beads and then a topaz glass bead, etc, working our way up to our 1st small casting, part number 3305.
Then we started again up the strand. We then clamped each end off and started with the shorter strand, stringing them along as shown. It was at the second small casting that the necklaces were joined, just using the holes on the bottom for the longer strand and the holes on the top for the shorter strand. From this point on we were making a double stranded necklace, still using the oringal wires we started with.
We then attached a antique copper clasp (1135) by inserting the wire and wrapping the wire around upon itself as shown. These creates a very strong connection and is very simple to do.
Total time to complete this project 1/2 hour!!!
